Getting to NAGANO & YAMANOUCHI TOWN
By Train
- From Tokyo
- From Tokyo Station to Nagano Station passengers board the Nagano Shinkansen (Asama) (1hr 50min).
Transfer at Nagano Station to the Nagaden express to Yudanaka Station (45min).
- From Osaka, Kyoto & Nagoya
- From Shin-Osaka or Kyoto Station catch the Tokaido Shinkansen to Nagaoya. Travelling time -55 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station or 40 minutes from Kyoto Station.
Transfer at Nagoya Station to the Chuo-hon Line and catch the Shinano Limited Express to Nagano Station (3hrs).
Transfer at Nagano Station to the Nagaden express to Yudanaka Station (45min).
By Car
- From Tokyo
- 1.Take the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T, then take Joshin-etsu Expressway to the Kosyoku J.C.T and head towards and past Nagano on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. The Shinshu Nakano Interchange is the nearest exit. Get off the Shinshu Nakano Interchange and follow signs onto the Shiga Nakano toll road for Yamanochi Town. The toll road runs into Rte 292 for Yamanouchi Town.
- 2. Take the Kanetsu Expressway to the Fujioka J.C.T, then take Joshin-etsu Expressway to the Kosyoku J.C.T and head towards past Nagano on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. Same as above from Joshin-etsu Expressway.

- Take the Chuo Expressway to the Okaya J.C.T, then take Nagano Expressway to the Kosyoku J.C.T and head towards and past Nagano on the Joshin-etsu Expressway.
